Purpose
To practice hitting for new players
Setup
- Have a coach or coach’s assistant stand near the net with a basket of balls
- Other players line up single file in hitting lanes.
How it works
- The first hitter in line stands just behind the 10ft line and calls for a hit (four! four! four!).
- The coach sets the ball to the hitter who approaches and attacks over the net.
- The player then shags their own ball and places it back in the ball cart.
Notes
- This can be run on both sides of the net simultaneously using two setters.
