Purpose

This activity helps beginning to intermediate players focus on their passing form and, by taking a knee, work on arm control.

Setup

  • Divide players into pairs. Give a ball to each pair.
  • Each pair should stand about 6 feet apart.

How it works

  • One player from each pair kneels on one knee and prepares to pass. The other player tosses ball to the passer who passes the ball back. After 10 throws, the players switch.

Coaching Tips

  • Emphasize proper passing form and ball control. Control is more important than power in this activity
