Purpose

This drill helps setters learn ball control and concentration.

Setup

Divide the players into two groups on each side of the court.

How it works

  1. Starting in one corner, the player walk across the back line while continuously setting the ball vertically to themselves.
  2. When players reach the sideline, they turn 90 degrees and continue setting as they walk toward the net to the 10 foot line.
  3. When they reach the 10 foot line, they turn 90 degrees again and continue setting as they walk toward the other sideline.
