Purpose

This is a controlled activity for novice players to begin learning to pass and to focus on their passing form.

Setup

  • Divide players into pairs. Each pair should stand about 10 feet apart.
  • Give a ball to each pair.

How it works

  • One player tosses ball to the other who tries to pass the ball back. After 10 throws, players switch
  • Count how many times you can pass to each other

Coaching Tips

  • Emphasize that players should focus on using proper form and ball control. Control is more important than power in this activity
